Time to Wake Up!

This was probably the only time he woke up and didn't make his stretching face (which was what I was trying to record), but it's still pretty great!

A Very Big Thank You!

For the last two weeks, we were lucky enough to have family come out to visit and help us!  Thank you all so much, we all miss you already!

2 Weeks

Ben is two weeks old today!  He's growing so well, and it seems like he's already changed so much in just two weeks.  Here are some of his favorite things:

• He loves his hands.  He almost always has them by his face.
• He likes going over our shoulders, holding his head up and looking all around.
• He loves to keep his legs as straight as possible, especially when he's upset.
• He loves to smile in his sleep, we can't wait to see him do it when he's awake!
• He likes to stretch out when he's waking up, raising his eyebrows and arching his back - it's one of my favorite faces that he makes.

• He does NOT like being cold, and does NOT like being hungry!

• He can't help but be absolutely adorable all the time!  We can't take our eyes off of him.

Benjamin Matthew Simmons!

Ben was born on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 5:20am!  He was 19" and 8lbs. 2oz. and the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

We stayed at the hospital for two nights, and got to head home on Tuesday.  We are so in love with this little man, it's already hard to believe he was ever not a part of our lives.

40 Weeks 5 Days

Baby Shower

The first weekend of February, Matt and I drove to Ohio for our baby shower!  Everything about it was fantastic!  It was so cute, and so great to see everyone - thank you, thank you, thank you!

Homestretch

Less than a month to go until my due date!  We went back to Ohio last weekend for a beautiful shower that was thrown for us by Matt's mom!  It was so nice to see everyone, and the shower was amazing!  Thank you, thank you, thank you!  I'm going to put pictures of the shower up, but I wanted to do a quick update with some belly growth pictures:

35 Weeks!

35 weeks down, 5 more to go!  We're nearing the home stretch - only a little more than a month until we get to meet our little boy!  I'm still feeling great, which I'm very thankful for - and our little guy is doing great, too.

30 Weeks

I'm 30 weeks, 6 days today!  Everything is going great still - we have doctor appointments every two weeks now, and soon they'll be every week.  Our little guy is about 3 pounds, and he's still moving like crazy!

Merry Christmas!

This year my parents came to see us for Christmas - it was our first time spending Christmas in New York, and it was a lot of fun!  They brought lots of delicious things to eat, and we made a few different cookies while they were here - including the famous Christmas Sugar Cookies!

We were able to spend Thursday evening with my aunt, uncle, and cousins in New Jersey, and I had never been to Rockefeller Center during the holidays before, so we went down there on Friday.  We ate, watched Christmas movies, ate, did a Christmas puzzle, ate, made Christmas dinner, ate... and ate some more!
